Brocolli Paratha

Brocolli1 cup
Chopped Ginger1 tsp
Garam Masala1/2 tsp
Oil2 tbsp
Red Chilli powder3/4 tsp
SaltTo taste
Turmeric Powder1/4 tsp
Wheat Flour1 cup

Method : 
  1. Wash the broccoli and chop it into small florets. Then blend the florets in a blender or a food processor till it forms a grainy powder consistency.
  2. Knead the dough: While making the dough, add the blend broccoli, salt, turmeric powder, chili powder, garam masala and 1 tbsp of oil to the wheat flour and knead. Knead the dough till it makes a smooth dough.
  3. Coat the dough with 1 tbsp of oil and let it rest for 10 - 30 minutes.
  4. Make the paratha with the broccoli paratha dough the same way you would make chapattis but slightly thicker. 

  1. While grinding the broccoli, you can add the spices so they combine well. 
  2. If you like Onion and more spice in your paratha then blend a chopped onion and one green chili along with the broccoli.
  3. Do not add any water while making the dough as the broccoli itself will leave enough water to make the dough. 
  4. If for any reason the dough is dry and requires some water to bind together, add water in small quantities, 1 tbsp at a time.
