Vermicelli Rice


Ingredients:
Butter2 tbsp
Rice1 cup
Salt1/2 tsp
Vermicelli1 cup
Water2 cups

Method:
  1. In a cooker, melt the butter.
  2. Roast the vermicelli till it turns golden brown. 
  3. Add the rice, water and salt and pressure cook the rice for the same number of whistles that you would cook it normally. 

Notes:
  1. If you do not have a pressure cooker, you can use a saucepan. Cook the rice for 10 -15 mins till the water is absorbed.
