Dahi Puri

Chaat masala1 tbsp
Chili powder1 tsp
Curd1 cup
Green chutney1/4 cup
Onion1 Medium
Potato2 Large
SaltTo taste
Sweet chutney1/4 cup
Tomato chili sauce1/4 cup
Water1 cup

  1. Potato Filling: Boil the potatoes. Peel and mash them. Add chili powder, 1 tbsp of chaat masala and salt and mix well.  
  2. Assemble the dish: Line the puri's by puncturing them with your thumb. Fill the puri with approx. 1 - 2 tsp of potato filling. Sprinkle chopped onion over the puri's. Then pour the curd over them. Sprinkle Sev and some chaat masala over the puri's following which add the chutney's over them and serve immediately.

  1. Beat the curd with salt to form a thick consistency. Make sure the curd is not runny. 
  2. Sweet chutney is made from dates and tamarind. Recipe to be published soon.
  3. Maggi tomato and chili sauce was used in this recipe.
  4. Make sure the chutney's are all the right consistency to pour over the  chaat. If its too thick, add a few drops of water to make it thin.
  5. Add the curd and the chutney just before serving the dish. Else, the dish will get soggy.
